Brides everywhere are looking for a way to plan their perfect day, digital and printable wedding planners are a great way to get into the very lucrative wedding industry. The best advice I can give you is to make sure you make more than 1 planner. The best selling planners I have seen on Etsy, have multiple versions of the same planner.
I recently released a Wedding Planner PLR Pack, that offers 4 styles of the same planner, and each of these could then have multiple versions. For instance, the one I call Rose Bouquet could have a few other versions with a variety of different flowers. The Purple Minimalist, uses a color palette in Power Point, so it is literally, the click of a button to create a planner in almost any color you desire.
Now, you do want to make sure that you are including all the basics that a bride will need to plan her big day. You can also break out sections to sell as planners of their own. I also see a lot of checklists only – without all the actual planner pages.
There are so many styles of weddings, and there are almost as many templates you can purchase. If you know you will be catering to a particular market, you may want to invest a bit of time to find a planner that is close to your finished ideal, so you have less work to do, to make it your own before you offer it up for sale.
Jenn from Planning Addicts has a BoHo Wedding Planner, this is a great example, that is very different than the pack I shared above. This pack not only has a planner template, there are also coloring pages that can be included with the planner or sold on their own.
Jan from Simple Happiness Biz (I love her business name) has what I call a Romantic Wedding Planner. She offers a base PLR pack with 45 pages and you can extend your planner with 21 more matching pages. I like that she offers buying options, so you can get what you want to create the Wedding Planner you want to sell.
You could leave the background blue and change out the floral motifs with and create several varieties of your planner, to increase your chance of sales, especially if you sell on Etsy.
As you can see from just these few examples, there are plenty of PLR Wedding Planner designs to choose from.
If you are selling on Etsy, it will be really hard to get found for a generic Wedding Planner, so you will want to make sure that go for a bit more targeted or niched down version. Even something as simple as color, can help to set you apart from your competition.
